The Equality Maricopa Board represents the Maricopa Community Colleges’ employees and students who identify and/or are allies for employees and students of the LGBTQIA+ community. The goal of Equality Maricopa "is to create and maintain a climate of acceptance, equality, inclusion and success. We strive to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where LGBTQIA+ staff and students are valued and the expectation is for everyone to be treated with dignity and respect."
